Ralph Guarasci, CIC
President
Ralph joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 1984 and assumed management duties several years later. A graduate of Bishop Watterson HS and Ohio State University, Ralph was a member of the golf team at both schools.
A 36 year insurance industry veteran, Ralph holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. He taught for the Ohio Insurance Agents Association for 15 years and was twice Instructor of the Year. He also provides expert testimony on insurance litigation.
Ralph lives in Powell with his wife Lynn. They have three children – Kelly, Katie, and Dan and six grandchildren. Ralph is a member of St Joan of Arc Church and the Kinsale Golf Club.

Scott Egelhoff, CIC
Partner
Scott joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in March of 1993 and has helped the agency grow since then. He was named part owner in 2003. He specializes in construction, home health care, craft brewery, manufacturing, and personal insurance accounts. Scott went to Bishop Watterson, Ohio State, and Franklin University. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation.
Scott has been married to Karen since 1992 and has 3 daughters, Rachel, Callie, and Maddie. Scott has lived in Clintonville for 43 years where he grew up. Scott coached fastpitch softball for 18 years with his 3 daughters from grade school up to elite travel. Scott is a member of the Ohio State University Golf Club.

Ernie Dancer

Ernie has been with Insurance Agency of Ohio since 1996. An MBA graduate from Ohio Dominican University, Ernie has over 35 years experience in the insurance industry.
Ernie is an adjunct professor at Ohio Dominican and Columbus State where he teaches insurance and finance courses. He specializes in insuring commercial businesses, with an emphasis on schools, universities, assisted living, and health care facilities.
Ernie and his wife Joy have three children and five grandchildren. They enjoy golfing and relaxing in Hilton Head, SC.

Katie Watson, CIC

A 10 year veteran in the insurance industry, Katie joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2007 as a Producer/Agent. A Bishop Watterson and Ohio State University graduate, Katie holds the prestigious Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. She is a member of the Worthington Chamber of Commerce.
Katie specializes in personal home and auto insurance, dentists and small commercial accounts.
Katie, her husband Adam, and her three step children: Elle, Jack, and Charlie, live in the Worthington area.

Dan began his career in the insurance industry in 2006 with Cincinnati Insurance Company. He joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2009 as a Producer/Agent.
A Bishop Watterson and Ohio State University graduate, Dan holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designations.
Dan specializes in personal auto and home insurance, commercial insurance, claims investigations, and risk transfer.
Dan is an active Ohio State fan, and plays competitive sand volleyball year round. He is a member of the Ohio Landlord’s Association and Columbus Young Professionals.

Kelly began her insurance career in 2010. She joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2014 and now manages our commercial lines.
A Bishop Watterson and Ohio State University graduate, Kelly holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative Designation (CISR).
Kelly, her husband Jason and three children: Cameron, Chloe and Jacob live in Worthington and attend St. Joan of Arc Church.

Laurie joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2017.
She is a graduate of Sidney High School and Ohio State University.

Tammy began her insurance industry career in 1990. She joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2012 as a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent.

Lisa May

Lisa is a lifetime resident of Central Ohio and is a Walnut Ridge High School graduate. She has called Pataskala home since 2008 where She and her husband, Jack, finished raising their kids while being involved with and supporting
Watkins Memorial High School academic and sports programs. Nowadays, with kids all out on their own, it’s Go Bucks with a side of Texas Longhorns and Blue Jackets!
She has been in the Insurance Industry since 1985 and is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent. “Most of my time has been spent working in Independent Agencies, like Insurance Agency of Ohio, because they have the most to offer their clients. One of my favorite things about my career has been watching families grow.” Lisa joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2019.

Sara Coneff

Sara joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in June of 2020.
She is a graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School and the University of Akron where she studied sociology and criminology.
She lives in Worthington with her husband, Brian, and their two dogs. She enjoys watching football, reading, baking, and spending time with family.

Paula Hamilton, CISR, CPSR
Agency Manager
Paula began her insurance career in 1984 when she joined Insurance Agency of Ohio.
A Walnut Ridge High School graduate, she holds several insurance designations: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and the Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) designation.
Paula has been married to her husband Dan since 1991 and they have a daughter, Sarah. When she’s not handling the technical and IT issues at the agency, Paula enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

Sue Taylor
Claims Coordinator
Sue joined Insurance Agency of Ohio in 2000. She has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Sue is currently our Claims Coordinator and helps our clients with any issues they may have with claims.
Sue is a graduate of Worthington High School and Ohio State University. She is active in her Hilltop area Church and the surrounding area.
Sue has a daughter Yvonne and a grandson Josiah who she is very proud of.

Sharon Amos
Admin
Sharon joined the agency in March of 2021. She grew up in Northeast Ohio and currently lives in Grove City.
Sharon moved to Columbus after graduating from Bowling Green State University. She spent 14 years educating students of all ages in public schools and through private tutoring. Most recently she administered professional licensing exams.
When not working, Sharon likes to spend time hiking and being outdoors up at Lake Erie.
